Almas Sweater is an oversize sweater that features a unique structure. The soft yarn combination gives the sweater an exclusive look and is perfect for cold winter days or cool summer evenings. The sweater is worked top down. First the back piece is worked in a trapeze shape, after which stitches are picked up along the back diagonals for the shoulder sections. The shoulder parts are then closed to form the front piece before the front and back are joined to form the body. The sweater is worked with slits at the sides of the body before stitches are picked up at the neckline at the end for a high collar.
The sweater was named after Marte’s eldest niece.
